Lemak Cili Api (Spicy Coconut Gravy)
This “SPICY THICK YELLOW COCONUT GRAVY” dish is usually cooked with fried fish or chicken. A classic Malaysian dish, it can now be prepared simply with DESSA “LEMAK CILI API” PASTE for that authentic home taste.
Ingredients:
Onions, Chilli, Vegetable Oil, Ginger, Tamarind, Garlic, Tumeric, Shrimp Paste, (Shrimp and Salt), Sugar, Salt & Stock.
Prepare in 3 Easy Steps
- Heat pot with cooking oil. Fry lightly “LEMAK CILI API” PASTE and add 400 ml water and 100ml thick coconut milk.
- Add in fried fish of your choice or chicken.
- Bring to boil and simmer.
Serving: Rice or Bread.
