Mee Siam (Sweet & Sour Noodles)
Mee Siam is a spicy, sweet and sour gravy cooked with rice vermicelli or mee hoon. It can now be prepared simply with DESSA “MEE SIAM” PASTE for that authentic home taste.
Ingredients:
Chilli, Onion, Garlic, Shrimp Paste (Shrimp & Salt), Tamarind, Fermented Beans, Vegetable Oil, Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Groundnuts & Stock.
Prepare in 3 Easy Steps
- Stir ‘MEE SIAM’ PASTE with 2 litres water and a piece of Tamarind given. Put to boil.
- Heat up PASTE to fry Bee Hoon.
- Put in eggs and stir before putting in the Bee Hoon that has been soaked earlier.
Serving: Boiled Egg, Fried Toufu, Chilli Paste, Ku Chye, Onion Flakes, Chinese Celery & Spring Onion.
